"...that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

The title today is found in Isaiah 61, verse 3 and actually refers to those who have been healed by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I love that chapter and wanted to refer to it as I announced the literal trees that we received as a generous donation. Myron Kuenzi from Silverton, OR was at our presentation in Princeville, IL and has blessed us abundantly with 32 trees for our landscaped Healing Garden!!! As they arrived and were being unloaded that morning about 10 days ago, I was feeling humbled and thinking, "What moves a man to donate 32 big, beautiful trees AND arrange to have them shipped all the way from Oregon!?" The answer, of course, is Jesus Christ. So, a BIG thank you to Kuenzi Turf & Nursery. We are humbled and look forward to the blessing that this gift will be to all who come here. Here are a couple photos of the unloading...(Our burly unloaders were Dallas H., Shannon H., Krent R., Anthony & Justin S.)

Then, that same morning, shortly after the "tree-truck" had left, in pulled a semi-load of hay!! (We claimed that we just didn't want the Bluffton group to leave feeling like they hadn't done anything :)). So, a HUGE thank you to Roger Stoller and his son Chris for hauling it all the way down here. What a blessing to go into a busy summer with our hay supply replenished. The photo shows you the impressive sight of the arrival...
Today, the footings were poured for the porch addition to the Welcome Center. Special thanks to Norman Haerr, Bill Knobloch, Justin Steffen and Shannon for doing that work. We are looking forward to the arrival later this week of the crew for Jerry Kaiser Construction as they are volunteering their time to do the majority of the work for this.
As you can tell, the blessings being poured out here are amazing and humbling. Will you please join us in praising God for His provision? And please continue to pray for us...that we would be wise stewards and effective witnesses as we look forward to our opening day, May 4. (by: Susan)
